Yoga Ananda Chiang Mai is one of the most famous yoga studios in Chiang Mai. Created by its founder, Kru Nok, in 2015 it now has two branches in Chiang Mai. The main branch in the bustling area of Nimman, and another smaller sub-branch near JJ Market.

The owner and teacher, Kru Nok (in Thai, Kru means teacher) is a renowned yoga teacher in Chiang Mai, accredited by the Yoga Alliance (RYT-500) and The International Yoga Academy (IYA).

Yoga Ananda offers a variety of different yoga style courses suitable for all levels and background, like Hatha Yoga, Hatha Vinyasa, Ashtanga Vinyasa, Therapeutic Yoga, Restorative, Yoga for Health, etc.

Yoga Ananda has modern-style studios, but modest in size.

Kru Nok is a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance (RYT-500) and The International Yoga Academy (IYA). She teaches a variety of styles, i.e., Hatha Yoga, Hatha Vinyasa, Ashtanga Vinyasa, Therapeutic Yoga, Pranayama, etc.

Yoga Ananda Chiang Mai has two branches. One at Nimmanhaemin, and the other one at Jing Jai Market.

GROUP CLASS

Yoga Ananda offers a few classes a day, every day, in the morning and the evening at both branches. If you’re visiting Chiang Mai short term, you may join the class at 250 Baht per visit. Or take the one-week unlimited pass at 1,200 Baht (or 3,000 Baht a month).

Group classes are suitable for all levels, see the classes details here. For the timetable of different yoga classes, you may refer to their Nimman Branch schedule and JJ Market Branch schedule

Yoga Ananda Chiang Mai offers a few classes a day, every day, in the morning and the evening at both branches.

PRIVATE CLASS

On appointment, you may request for private yoga session when you have special needs. It can be the perfect introduction for anyone who is shy of the idea of starting or refining a yoga practice in a class setting. The private class will be designed upon each students body structure or health condition and expectation of student.

The private session’s charge is 1,200 Baht per hour, for one person. For a private group, or other workshops/special teaching arrangement you may refer to the General Private Class details

With personalized private or small group yoga sessions, your yoga practice can improve within a short time and is also a great way to help you create your own home practice.

YOGA FLY

Yoga Fly is a great way to practice and achieve all the benefits of traditional yoga but in a partial or fully suspended position or pose. It is a combination of many physical workouts like Pilates, acrobatics, dance, special arts, body weight and it applies yoga skill with the use of a hammock.

The hammock allows your body to hang against gravity to practice many yoga postures which might not be possible to do on the ground. Increased muscular flexibility, joint mobility, low impact cardiovascular conditioning and realignment of the spine are approached in a way that is unique to this discipline.

Note that Yoga Fly classes are available on the selected days of the week. You may refer to the Yoga Fly Schedule and the course details. The Yoga Fly class is 300 Baht per session or 1,250 Baht for 5 sessions.

Yoga Fly takes your yoga practice off the mat into the air and yet still incorporates all the benefits and enjoyments of regular yoga.

YOGA TEACHER TRAINING

Have you ever thought that since you’re going for such regular sessions of yoga, you might as well be an instructor, spreading the joy it brings, helping others find that inner peace, and teaching its benefits? Having a job that keeps your mind and body in check seems ideal, especially if it’s your passion

Yoga Ananda Chiang Mai is a Yoga Alliance (YA) Registered School (RYS) which provides a 200-hour training programme that meets Yoga Alliance’s standards. The course permits teachers who graduate from the Teacher Training Courses to become either a RYT-200 certified teacher.

Yoga Ananda Chiang Mai does teacher training and certification courses two or three times per year if you want to take your yoga experience to the next level.
